Pastor Reflections

Word's from the Pastor

This is my first opportunity to write a brief reflection as one component of our newly enhanced Church for All People Web page. I want to begin by thanking Eileen Howard for her outstanding ongoing work on our website and Brittany L. Browne, our summer intern, for all she has done in such a short period of time to improve the content and format of what is now appearing before you.

I invite you check out the several links from this page that will connect you to a variety of spiritual growth resources, as well as information about the life of our congregation. Last fall we did a series of sermons entitled “The Ten Commandments of Jesus”. A summary of each of these commandments was compiled in a small booklet. All together we distributed about 2,000 copies. Now the statement for each of these commandments can be found here on our webpage. I encourage you to read and reflect on these essential teachings of Jesus. You might even want to download them to share with a friend.

On the first Sunday in September we will begin a new series of sermons entitled, “Extreme Makeover: the disciple edition”. Each week a summary of the sermon from the previous Sunday will appear on this webpage. I hope you will join us in person for these exciting worship services and then forward the summaries to others you know as an invitation for them to join us at the Church for All People.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor John
